Research Interests: Molecular mechanisms of cortical development, Cortical Arealization throughout Embryonic Development
Vanna Giang is currently a lab technician, after working in the Bhaduri Lab for 4 years as an undergraduate student. Her work in the Bhaduri Lab is geared towards characterizing the different cell types that make up the developing human cortex. She also works on projects involving tumor-immune cell interaction. Vanna is currently on a pre-medicine track, and hopes to pursue a medical degree with a neurology specialty. Outside of the lab, Vanna enjoys weightlifting, pilates, cooking, eating, and adventuring in nature with her friends!
