Research Interests: Glioblastoma heterogeneity/plasticity, Mechanisms of Bohring-Opitz Syndrome

Carlos-Eduardo Gonzalez is a third-year undergraduate student at UCLA, majoring in Psychobiology. He looks to pursue medical-scientist (MD/PhD) training in the future. He is passionate about neuroscience research, specifically in the study of brain cancers. His research focuses on investigating the key metabolic pathways that are essential for promoting cell-type diversity during cortical development. Outside of academics, Carlos enjoys rock climbing, skating, watching anime, and working out.
